Editorial policy
This site exists to tell UK readers what Mad Casino's terms actually mean. The policy below explains how we protect that purpose.
Who writes our reviews
Reviews are written by Callum Reid and checked by a second member of the editorial team against the operator's published terms before publication. Each page names its reviewer and shows the date it was last checked.
Separation of commercial and editorial work
The site earns affiliate commission, which we disclose on every page through the footer and in detail on our affiliate disclosure. Commercial arrangements are handled separately from editorial decisions. No one with a commercial role can change a score, remove a criticism or approve wording before publication.
What we will not publish
- Invented player reviews or testimonials.
- Test results we did not carry out, presented as if we had.
- Claims that gambling is a way to make money.
- Content aimed at under-18s or at people who have self-excluded.
Updates
Casino terms change often. We review every page monthly and update immediately when a material change comes to light, such as a new wagering requirement or a changed licence. Significant changes to a score are noted in the review text.
Errors
If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] with the page address and the source that shows the correct position. We aim to reply within five working days and correct confirmed errors promptly. Our fact-checking policy sets out the process.
Scores and how they change
A score is changed only when the underlying terms or facts change, never because of a commercial conversation and never to make a page look better than the last version. When a score moves, the review text explains which area changed and why. Score history is kept internally so that any reader who asks can be told what the score was before and when it changed. We also avoid scoring features that we cannot describe from published terms, which is why measured speeds and response times do not appear on this site.
