Mad Casino payments review — a good list with a currency catch

Reviewed by Callum Reid · Last checked 7 October 2026

Payments score 6.5 out of 10. The method list covers what most UK players use, and the €10 minimum is low. Two things cost marks: everything runs in euros, and some methods common in Britain are not listed.

Methods listed

MethodNotes for UK players
Visa / Mastercard debitFamiliar; most UK issuers add a non-sterling fee on euro transactions. Some banks decline gambling payments to offshore merchants.
Skrill / NetellerFast and separate from your bank account. Check whether e-wallet deposits are excluded from the welcome stack in the current terms.
Bank transferUsually slowest; international transfer charges may apply.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDTQuick once approved; value can move between deposit and withdrawal (except the dollar-pegged USDT, which still moves against sterling).

Credit cards cannot be used for gambling with UK-licensed operators. That ban does not bind an offshore casino, but many UK card issuers block or flag gambling transactions themselves, and borrowing to gamble is a warning sign in its own right.

The currency question

Your balance is in euros. Deposit £100 by debit card and the bank converts it at its own rate, often with a fee of around 2% to 3% on top. Withdraw and the conversion happens again in reverse. Over many deposits and withdrawals this is a real cost, and it is the main reason payments score below seven. A card or account with no foreign transaction fee reduces it.

Crypto

Three coins are accepted. Crypto deposits avoid card FX fees but bring exchange fees and price movement instead, and you are responsible for sending to the correct network and address. A mistake there cannot be reversed. If you have never bought crypto, a casino deposit is not the place to learn.

Deposit and withdrawal order

Most casinos pay withdrawals back to the method used to deposit, for anti-money-laundering reasons. Plan for that: if you deposit by card you should expect to withdraw to the same card, at least up to the amount deposited.

Score

Good method coverage and a low minimum earn the base score. We deducted for the euro-only balance, for the absence of methods such as PayPal and Apple Pay that UK players expect, and for the bank-decline risk on offshore gambling payments.
