Mad Casino mobile review — the browser is the app

Reviewed by Callum Reid · Last checked 7 October 2026

Mobile scores 7.5 out of 10. The site runs in a phone browser, and the major studios build their games for touchscreens first. The useful advice here is less about the casino and more about using any gambling site on a phone safely.

Browser play

Mad Casino is designed to be used through Safari or Chrome rather than a native app. You log in, deposit and play from the same site as on desktop. You can add a shortcut to your home screen, which opens it like an app without installing anything.

Games on a small screen

Modern slots from Pragmatic Play, NetEnt and Play'n GO are built for portrait-mode phones. Live dealer tables work, though the stream needs a steady connection and uses noticeably more data than slots; Wi-Fi is preferable. Larger tables and game shows are easier to follow in landscape.

About apps

Treat any download offered from outside the official App Store or Google Play with suspicion. Apps installed from unknown sources bypass the stores' security checks. There is no need to install anything to use the site, so we recommend not doing so.

Phone habits worth having

• Set deposit limits in your account before you play on mobile, where it is easiest to play impulsively.
• Turn off promotional notifications from casinos.
• Use Screen Time on iPhone or Digital Wellbeing on Android to cap time on gambling sites.
• Consider a gambling block on your banking app; most UK banks offer one.

We scored mobile 7.5: the experience is what you would expect from a modern casino, with no particular feature that sets it apart.
